  • Yes; we are licensed through Walsall Council.

  • Our maximum capacity for events with a sit-down meal is 500.

    For events such as ceremonies, we can seat up to 800 guests.

  • For events without catering, such as Civil Ceremonies, we have no minimum number of guests required.

    For events with catering (whether in-house or external), our minimum number of guests required is 60 adult guests.

  • There is only one hall at The Willows, although we can partition off a smaller portion of the hall for smaller events. This partitioned section is called our Autumn Suite.

  • The length of room hire included in any of our package is 6 hours as standard. Some events such as Traditional English Weddings or Caribbean Weddings that include a ceremony and evening reception can have a 10-hour room hire.

    Additional hours can be added to your package for an extra fee.

  • The latest time your event can finish is 12am (midnight). If you have a bar, this will close half an hour before this.

  • Our in-house catering team can provide:

    • Asian (Indian/Punjabi, Pakistani, Muslim)

    • Caribbean

    • English/European

  • Yes; our in-house catering can provide Halal cuisine upon request.

  • All of our packages include an in-house and self-catered option. If you choose the self-catered option, please note that your food must come from a registered company. All external caterers must be able to provide certifications upon request.

  • Yes; we have a fully-stocked bar as well as an LED bar and shot bar that can be added to your event for an extra fee.

  • Event organisers are more than welcome to provide their own wine and spirits. Beer is to be provided by ourselves only.

  • No. We provide decor as part of our packages. As part of your booking, you will be assigned a decor specialist to meet with to discuss your visions and help make them a reality.

  • We do not allow confetti or anything similar (ie, glitter, rice, etc) to be used anywhere on our premises. Use of these prohibited items will incur an excess cleaning fee of £300 post-event.

  • Yes; all DJs must provide Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and PAT certificates.

  • You can choose your own vendors to supply anything you’d like at your event, subject to the approval of The Willows Management.

    All vendors must be able to provide Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and PAT certificates if anything requires electricity from the venue.

  • We do not have any overnight accommodation on-site. However, we do have deals with a couple of local hotels where your guests can receive a 10% discount on their stay

  • On-site we have 20 car parking spaces, for which we give each organizer passes for their VIPs to park on-site.

    Directly opposite our main entrance is a Council-owned car park that can accommodate a further 12 cars. (Please note that for day-time events, this access is limited to 2-hours.)

    There are also 2 additional Council-owned car parks located within only a few minutes’ walk from the venue:

    • Wakes Ground Car & Lorry Park (Walsall Street) – 2 minute walk from The Willows

    • Free Parking until 6pm. No parking after 6pm.

    • 169 spaces (including 11 disabled)

    • Hall Street Car Park (WV13 1PL) – 2 minute walk from The Willows

    • Free Parking all day, Monday to Sunday

    • 54 spaces (including 4 disabled)

  • Yes; guests with special mobility requirements can access our hall via our Autumn Suite entrance.

    There are also 3 private disabled toilets off of the hall.
